On the second day of the three-day annual festival "Colors-2025-26" at Shriram Group of Colleges, the year 2025 was bid farewell with colorful programs. On this occasion, the students of the college captivated the audience with their enchanting performances. Today, in the program, Dr. SC Kulshrestha, Chairman of Shriram Group of Colleges, was honored with the "Pride of Muzaffarnagar" award by the Prayatna organization for his outstanding contribution to the field of education. The members of the college's media committee, teachers, and staff were also honored for their contribution and dedication to the college.
The second day of the program, held at the Shriram College sports ground, commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, Minister of State for Vocational Education and Skill Development (Independent Charge), Kapil Dev Agarwal, District Panchayat President Muzaffarnagar, Dr. Veerpal Nirwal, Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) Gajendra Kumar, former Chairperson of Muzaffarnagar Municipal Council Anju Agarwal, and the program was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor of Maa Shakumbhari University, Saharanpur, Professor Vimla Y. Other dignitaries present included Purushottam, Regional Minister BJP, Dr. Rekha Singh, Dr. Ishwar Chandra, Vipul Bhatnagar, Nishank Jain, Shriradhe Shyam Vishwakarma, Hindu Parishad, Senior Editor Dainik Jagran, Muzaffarnagar, Anand Kumar, Hindustan Editor, Muzaffarnagar Diwakar Jha, Amar Ujala, Muzaffarnagar, Chairman Vaishnav Steel, Muzaffarnagar, Ashok Agarwal, Reena Agarwal, industrialist Kushpuri, renowned social worker Devraj Panwar, Anju Chaudhary, Namrata Tyagi, Lavanya, Reena Agarwal, Rajkumar Sharma, Ravindra Chaudhary, Chairman of Shriram Group of Colleges Dr. SC Kulshrestha, Secretary of Shriram Group of Colleges Er. Sankalp Kulshrestha, Secretary, Shriram College of Law Mukta Kulshrestha, Shriram College Trustee, Shub Kulshrestha, and other dignitaries.
The program began with a Ganesh Vandana performed by the students of Shriram Polytechnic, creating a devotional atmosphere. Following this, students from the Commerce Department – Aryan, Vanshika, Vikas, Shruti, Kanishk, Nishi, and Shweta – gave a spectacular performance on a Punjabi mashup. The Business Administration department presented a musical act called 'Act Emotion'. Students from the Basic Science department gave an impressive musical performance on the theme of women's empowerment, forcing the audience to applaud. Students from the Computer Applications department gave a very impactful performance on the Ravana act. After this, students from Shri Ram Polytechnic made the audience sway with their girls' classical group dance. Students from Shri Ram College of Pharmacy garnered much applause with their powerful group dance on the Shiva Tandava theme, depicting the glory of Lord Shiva. Students from the Journalism and Mass Communication department performed a very exciting group dance on the Gujarati folk song "Udi Udi Jaye Dil Ki Patang". Students from the Fine Arts department presented an impressive group dance depicting the struggles of Savitribai Phule and Fatima Sheikh for social reform and the education of women and Dalits through their act.
Arnav Agarwal, a student from the Business Administration department, captivated the audience with his mesmerizing performance on the famous Bollywood song "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil". Radhika and Kashish, students from the Journalism and Mass Communication department, made the audience applaud with their duet dance on the song "Radha Tera Jhumka".
Following this, students from Shri Ram College of Law – Nidhi, Anika, Samia, Meenu, Khushi, Komal, Khushipal, Parul, Mithilesh, and Subharti – presented a Rajasthani folk dance, introducing the audience to the culture of Rajasthan. Following this, management department students Aryan, Samdarshi, Harit, Umang, Vansh, and Utsav performed a group dance on the Malihari theme, creating a unique atmosphere and making the audience in the field dance along. Home Science students of Shri Ram College also won everyone's applause with their group dance on the Punjabi theme "Gidda".
On this occasion, teachers working at Shri Ram Group of Colleges who have excelled in education as well as other co-curricular activities – Dr. Ashfaq, Head of the Commerce Department, Dr. Praveen Malik, Agriculture Science Department, and Amardeep, Assistant Teacher, Physical Education Department – were also honored with awards for their contribution to college discipline. Teachers who performed exceptionally well in admissions were also felicitated. Members of the college's social media committee, Dr. Omprakash Kushwaha, Shahzad Gaur, Sangam, Hurain, and Media Coordinator Kahkasha Mirza, were awarded for their outstanding work in the field of media.
On this occasion, Dr. S.C. Kulshrestha, Chairman of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, was honored with the "Pride of Muzaffarnagar" award by the Prayatna organization for his outstanding contribution to the field of education. The office bearers of the Prayatna organization said that the work of Dr. S.C. Kulshrestha, Chairman of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar, is an inspiration to society, and his contributions have given the district a new identity.
On this occasion, the Chief Guest, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Vocational Education and Skill Development, Kapil Dev Agarwal, in his address, said that Shri Ram College is constantly reaching new heights in the field of education.
