Colors-2025-26 organized with the theme "Bihar: A Glimpse"

The first day of Colors-2025-26 was a colorful event held at the sports ground of Shri Ram Group of Colleges.

The three-day annual festival "Colors-2025-26" was organized at the sports ground of Shri Ram College, with the theme for the first day being "Bihar: A Glimpse". All the students of Shri Ram Group of Colleges participated enthusiastically in the program and captivated the audience with a series of colorful cultural performances.

The program was inaugurated by the chief guests Dr. Rupesh Kumar, Commissioner, Saharanpur, Umesh Mishra, District Magistrate, Muzaffarnagar, Meenakshi Swaroop, Chairperson, Municipal Council, Muzaffarnagar, Siddharth Shankar Tripathi, Finance Officer, Maa Shakumbhari University, Saharanpur, Pankaj Prakash Rathore, City Magistrate, Muzaffarnagar. The program was presided over by Dr. SC Kulshrestha, Chairman, Shri Ram Group of Colleges.  The special guests included Dharmendra Malik, National Spokesperson of Bharatiya Kisan Union (Non-Political), Chairman Pramod Tank, President City Unit, Muzaffarnagar, Garima Jain, Principal DAV College, Muzaffarnagar, Rajendra Singhal, Principal Raja Mahendra Pratap PS Gurukul, Dr. Ishwarchandra, Senior and renowned Pediatrician, Dr. Rakesh Agarwal, Vaidhyaratnam Arogyadham, Neelam Agarwal, and other distinguished guests T.S. Rawat, President, Shri Ram College of Law, Satish Chandra Goyal, Chairman, Tehri Steel Limited, Muzaffarnagar, Ashok Baliyan, President Peasant Society, industrialist Kushpuri, Dr. Anju Walia, Principal IIMT, Saharanpur, Devendra Chaudhary, Treasurer SRGC, City Qazi Tanveer Alam, Ashok Batla, and other prominent social workers and industrialists. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Dr. SC Kulshrestha, Chairman, Shri Ram Group of Colleges, E. Sankalp Kulshrestha, Secretary, Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Mukta Kulshrestha, Secretary, Shri Ram College of Law, and Shub Kulshrestha, Trustee of Shri Ram College.

As in previous years, the annual three-day cultural program, Colors-2025-26, was organized at Shri Ram College in Muzaffarnagar. The program officially began with a dance performance on Ganesh Vandana by the students of SRGC Polytechnic. Following this, students from the girls' hostel – Nikki, Nishu, Nidhi, Lali Priya, Anu Priya, Chhoti Shubhra, Afreen, Muskan, Priya, Riya, Sejal, Mehak, Anchal, Mansi, Stuti, Aradhya, Ritu, Chanda, Srishti, Soni, Sakshi, and others – presented a spectacular group dance on Kali Tandav. Next, the Business Administration students performed a Bhojpuri group dance, earning much applause. Students from the Pharmacy department gave a vibrant performance showcasing Haryanvi culture. Following this, students from the Bioscience department presented a dynamic dance performance on popular Bhojpuri songs, making the audience groove along. The girls' hostel students then performed a group dance based on a Mithila theme. This was followed by a Bhojpuri group dance by the Agriculture Science students and a Bhojpuri folk dance by the Journalism and Mass Communication department. The girls' hostel students also performed a group dance on a Hanuman theme. Agriculture Science students presented a dance depicting the culture of Bihar and the importance of Chhath Puja. Students from Computer Applications presented a silent act. Students from the boys' hostel gave a captivating performance of a comedy group dance to the song "Sorry-Sorry." Following this, a Business Administration student gave a dynamic performance to the song "Jeena-Jeena." Then, Shreya, a student from the Management department, gave a captivating performance on a Bollywood mashup dance. Finally, Mahima and Meenakshi from the Fine Arts department presented a colorful dance performance to a Bollywood song. On this occasion, the chief guest, Dr. Rupesh Kumar, Commissioner, Saharanpur, said that in the age of AI, where technology has become so powerful, such grand cultural programs leave a lasting impression on the hearts of young people. He further added that interacting with the youth is very encouraging for him. He said that it is a great honor for him to be present at Shri Ram College's annual program, Colors 2025-26. He felt immense joy being among the students. He praised the program organized by the Shri Ram Group of Colleges, saying that he had never seen such talent in any other college's students. He commended the students' discipline and attributed it to the Chairman of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Dr. S.C. Kulshrestha, and the college's teachers.

On this occasion, 45 students who secured positions in the university's merit list and won gold medals were also honored. Following this, the Chairman of Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Dr. S.C. Kulshrestha, expressed his gratitude to all the students and guests present at the event.
