Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal organized a "Youth Dialogue" program in the auditorium of Shri Ram College. This year's theme was "Drug-Free Youth, Developed India," urging youth to quit drugs and play an active role in nation-building.
The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Dr. S.C. Kulshrestha, Chairman, Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar; Jitendra Chaudhary, State Joint Secretary; Anoop, Division Organization Minister; Neeraj Daunaria, National Coordinator; Gaurav Bhatnagar; Dr. Prerna Mittal, Principal, Shri Ram College; and Dr. Ashok Kumar, Director, Shri Ram College.
Chief Guest Jitendra Chaudhary, State Joint Secretary, addressed the youth, stating that today's youth determine the future of India. If the youth break free from drug addiction and move ahead on the path of social service and nation building, then no one can stop India from becoming a “developed nation”, he said, adding that drug addiction not only destroys the health of an individual but also weakens the structure of society and family. Bajrang Dal workers urged the youth to take a pledge to give up drugs and motivated them to take active participation in sports, education and social work.
On this occasion, Chairman Dr. S. Welcoming all the VHP workers, C. Kulshrestha said in his address, "The biggest challenge facing youth today is the spreading web of drug addiction. The film 'Udta Punjab' also vividly illustrated this problem, showing how drug addiction ravages an entire generation. We must not forget that India's true strength lies in our youth. If they remain drug-free, India can become not only self-reliant but also a world leader. Shri Ram College has always supported campaigns that guide society. Youth should abandon drug addiction and engage in social reform and national service. He said, "Drugs are a momentary pleasure, but their impact lasts for generations. Drug-free youth are the foundation of a developed India." Neeraj Daunaria, Anoop, and Gaurav Bhatnagar also encouraged the youth to embrace the ideals of self-reliance, discipline, and national service.
Finally, all students, teachers, and guests in the auditorium were administered the oath of a "drug-free India." They pledged to abstain from drugs and to raise awareness about the drug abuse in society.
The program was successfully conducted by the organizing committee, and the Shri Ram College family expressed their gratitude.
