Guest lecture in Pharmacy Department

Shri Ram Group of Colleges (Pharmacy Department) today hosted a highly useful and informative guest lecture on the foundations of data integrity good manufacturing practices. The keynote speaker, Mr. Ankit Rana (Quality Department, Pharmaceutical Industry), introduced the students to the nuances of the industrial sector through his practical experiences.

The program commenced with the lighting of a lamp and Saraswati Vandana. The keynote speaker, Mr. Ankit Rana, elaborated on the fundamentals of data integrity good manufacturing practices. He explained that quality, hygiene, and transparency are the most important elements in any pharmaceutical manufacturing unit. He provided students with in-depth information on topics such as quality assurance, quality control, documentation, validation, production flow, and hygienic maintenance.

He also explained that adherence to the NHS is not only an industrial necessity but also a moral responsibility, as every dose of medicine is linked to a person's health. Mr. Rana, while inspiring the students, said that the role of a pharmacist is not limited to manufacturing medicines, but it is also a means of serving the society and fulfilling one's responsibility towards humanity. Sharing his industry experiences, he explained how quality control and quality assurance are the foundation of any company's success.

In her address, the college's Principal, Akanksha Nirwal, said that Shri Ram Group of Colleges has always been committed to ensuring that each of its students not only receives quality and modern education, but also gets practical experience related to the industry, so that they can develop themselves according to the needs of the changing technological era. He stated that such guest lectures (Lanmaj Sambudjnat) are not only a means of learning for students, but also help them develop an understanding of real-world industry conditions, new technologies, and employable skills. He also mentioned that the college's primary objective is to encourage research, innovation, and a practical approach among students, enabling them to become competent, self-reliant, and socially useful pharmacists in the future.
