Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar, hosted an inter-college boxing tournament for colleges affiliated with Maa Shakumbhari University. Players from various districts affiliated with Maa Shakumbhari University, Saharanpur, participated. The chief guests at this boxing tournament (men and women) were Dr. Prerna Mittal, Principal of Shri Ram College, and Dr. Ashok Kumar, Director of Shri Ram College.

Representing Maa Shakumbhari University on this occasion was Dr. Rita Bora, Selector.On this occasion, Boxing (Men and Women) teams from Gochar College, Rampur Maniharan, Saharanpur, MS College, Saharanpur, Hari College Management, Saharanpur, IIMTT College Saharanpur, SKD Degree College Baghra, CCRD College, Muzaffarnagar, Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar, DAV College, Muzaffarnagar, Doon College, and SD College, Muzaffarnagar participated in the competition.The Boxing (Men and Women) tournament was formally inaugurated by Dr. Rita Bora, representative of Maa Shakumbhari University, selector and chief guest Dr. Prerna Mittal, Principal, Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar, Dr. Ashok Kumar, Director, Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar and Pramod Kumar, Head of the Department of Physical Education and Assistant Professor of the Department of Physical Education.

Pramod Kumar, Head of the Department of Physical Education, stated that Maa Shakumbhari University had entrusted Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar, with the responsibility of organizing the Inter-College Boxing Tournament (Men and Women). In this context, team events for the Boxing (Men and Women) category were held today to select the university team. In the Men's Boxing match, Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar, secured first place, followed by SD College,Muzaffarnagar, second. In the Women's Boxing category, Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar, secured first place, followed by Hari College, Saharanpur, second. The college's Boxing (Men and Women) team, selected for this tournament, will participate in the North Zone Inter-University Boxing (Men and Women) competition, leading the team from Maa Shakumbhari University.

On this occasion, Dr. Prerna Mittal, Principal of Shri Ram College, while introducing the players, said that the performance of boxing players (men and women) from various colleges is praiseworthy. She encouraged the boxing players (men and women) and congratulated all the selected players for leading the university team.
