The seven-day Diksharambh induction program was concluded by the Agriculture, Computer Application and Business Administration departments of Shri Ram College together to welcome the new students. On the last day, a cultural and award distribution program was organized. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp jointly by the chief guest Dr. S.C. Kulshrestha, Chairman, Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Dr. Prerna Mittal, Principal of Shri Ram College, Dr. Ashok Kumar, Director of Shri Ram College, Dr. Naeem, Head of Department, Agriculture Department and Dr. Vivek Tyagi, Head of Department, Business Administration, Kapil Dhiman, External Admission Coordinator.
Motivational lectures were held on the first day of the seven-day Diksharambh induction program through which students were motivated. On the second day, the talent of the students was assessed through dancing, singing, drawing, painting, mimicry. On the third day, the sports competition of the students was displayed in which badminton, chess, carrom, kho-kho, cricket and volleyball were included. Industry visit was organized on the fourth day. On the fifth and sixth day, the students were taken on an educational tour. And on the seventh day, the program was concluded through culture and award distribution. Awards were distributed to all the students who secured first, second and third positions in all the events held under this program.
On this occasion, Dr. S.C. Kulshrestha, Chairman Shriram Group of Colleges, told the newcomers to participate in hobbies like drawing, group dancing, solo dancing and sports that hobbies are important for many reasons, as they contribute significantly to our overall health and personal development. Physical health Active hobbies like sports, dancing or hiking promote physical fitness and overall health. Time management Encourages discipline and time management, as these often require dedication and regular practice. Personal satisfaction Pursuing interests and passions adds meaning to life and increases personal satisfaction. And sports play an important role in our lives due to their countless benefits.
On this occasion, Dr. Prerna Mittal, Principal of Shri Ram College, told all the students that sports are important because participating in physical fitness sports improves heart health, strength, flexibility and overall physical fitness. It reduces the risk of chronic diseases like obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular problems.
On this occasion, Dr. Ashok Kumar, Director of Shri Ram College, thanked Dr. SC Kulshrestha, Chairman Shri Ram Group of Colleges and encouraged all the students by wishing them a successful future.
