One-day seminar organized on 'Budget 2025-26: Policy, Impact and Future

A one-day seminar was organized by the Department of Business and Management in Shri Ram College, Muzaffarnagar. The main theme of which was - 'Budget- 2025-26: Policy', Impact and Future. This one-day seminar was inaugurated by lighting a lamp in front of Maa Saraswati.

In the seminar, the students presented their articles on various sub-topics, out of which the main articles were on - Budget 2025-26: A step towards developed India, impact of budget on education and skill development, role of Finance Minister and NITI Aayog in budget making, role of micro, small and large industries in the Union Budget, impact of new tax slab on salaried employees, its impact on budget and economic development, etc.

Students participated enthusiastically in this seminar in which BBA got the first position. Aarti Kumari, a second year student, came first, Palak Mittal, a BBA first year student, came second and Prachi Chaudhary, a BBA second year student, came third.

On this occasion, Dr. S.C. Kulshreshtha, Chairman, Shri Ram Group of Colleges, congratulated the Department of Business and Management on organizing the seminar and said that the department should continue to organize such programs in future as well so that students can get help in expanding financial education.

On this occasion, Dr. Prerna Mittal, Principal, Shri Ram College and Dr. Ashok Kumar, Director, Shri Ram College, congratulated all the lecturers of the Department of Business and Management and said that such programs are expected from this department in future as well so that all-round development of students can take place.

On this occasion, Dr Saurabh Mittal, Dean Management, explained the real meaning of Union Budget to the students and said that how budget affects the life of a common man. He said that this seminar was very effective for the students of Business and Management Department because financial education and understanding of budget is very important for them.

Dr Chitra Shrivastava and Dr Nivedita Pandey from Faculty of Management Studies were in the role of jury.

A panel was also formed in this one-day seminar. In which Dr Saurabh Mittal, Dr Vivek Kumar Tyagi, Dr Ashfaq Ali, Dr Ajay Chauhan and Dr Pankaj Sharma were present.

At the end of the program, Dr Vivek Kumar Tyagi, Head of BBA Department, congratulated the students and said that they should keep participating in such programs so that their skills can be improved.

This one-day seminar was successfully conducted by Dr Atul Verma. Himanshu Verma, Nishu Verma, Poonam Sharma, Shivani Sharma, Sagar Shukla, Naveen Kumar, Kapil Kumar, Swati Tayal, Zeba Tahir, Mamta Mittal, Monica, Tannu Tyagi and Harsh Kumar helped in making the program successful.
